HELLO and WELCOME

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Ric Green but you can call me the "G", I´am originally from Wolverhampton but now live in the Cardiff area of South wales. I am a trained Professional Singer and have been for 18 years. I have previously worked as a session singer in studios in and around the England and Wales, but have now embarked on a solo career singing a wide variety of songs including Motown, Soul, R&B i particularly enjoy singing songs by my idol Lionel Richie plus many more favourites........

I love and enjoy singing songs that are very romantic because i feel it suits my personality and charm, but on the other hand the up-tempo songs are always fun to perform because they always result in filling the dance floor and making everyones night an enjoyable one!

I have spent the last 16 years working in various Spanish Resorts. I worked as a member of the Tribute group The Platters singing lead vocals in 4 and 5 star hotels. I have also worked with The famous Four Tops tribute show in Tenerife for several years keeping ,my RickyG show alive.

I now entertain as a solo artist in Wales on the circuit but previously every season in IBIZA from 2003 for 10 years.. I also perform my Tribute show by the great Lionel Richie. My rickyg solo show contains songs from the Motown and R and B era including reggee.  and much much more, with a touch of comedy and laughter.

My show is a high energy show that guarantees audience participation and will have everyone dancing or toe tapping!!!

I have a wide vocal range that allows me to enjoy performing and sharing a variety of songs by the likes of Billy Ocean, Marvin Gaye, The Tempations and Elton John to the Killers, including most recent chart toppers including the Killers, Pitbull and Neo, Kelvin Harris and Chris Brown. Due to my shows being in huge demand days off are few and far between!!! My shows suit audiences of all ages young and old. I  have performed in small shows of maybe 200 people but also to audiences of up to 1000 plus. However big or small the audience everyone is guaranteed a great time! I give my audience value for money every time...Let me Entertain you...Catch me if you are able...Its worth it

Some of the songs that I perform are songs that I grew up with, these are amazing songs with fantastic lyrics. Some of the words of the songs hold a special meanings to me so when I perform them I perform them from the heart. I presents a large repertoire of songs of music I love - Soul, Reggae, Motown and Rhythm and Blues, together with some very special ballads.

Some of my personal favourites are All Night Long, Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, Easy, My Girl, Dancing On The Ceiling....the list is endless as there are so many great songs from the R& B. Motown era to choose from.

I'm the master of them all and uses them to electrify my audiences with my superb artistry. They can be excited to fever pitch, or subdued to rapt emotion by the magic that makes RICKY G one of the most sought after vocalists on the music scene today.

Venues
I perform in Hotels, Bars,Restaurants, Pubs, and Social Clubs and Theatres.

I provide my own top quality sound and lighting in all shows.
